Edmonton Bathroom Renovations
Professional Bathroom Renovations – Edmonton & Area
For over 30 years Independent Bath has served the community in providing turnkey quality bathroom renovations in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, St. Albert.
Starting our business, we believed if we provided quality services and products, people would continue to use our services and tell their friends! Today that majority of our work comes from customers who have used us before and from their family and friends. Thank-you!
We believe a job worth doing is worth doing well and we accomplish that by choosing products that stand up to daily use and continue to look great for many years – products we trust in our own homes including custom cabinetry built in our own cabinet shop.
We deliver the quality you deserve by keeping our qualified trades in-house. We started out this way and that will never change and our workmanship is backed by a great warranty our customers appreciate.
Our Bathroom Renovation Process
Our process is laid out to arrive at the bathroom you have been dreaming about:
Visit our south Edmonton bathroom showroom:
We begin by inviting our customers to our showroom in the Edmonton Home Fair (2856 Calgary Trail NW Edmonton). Here you will be able to see some of the bath solutions we have to offer. Our bathroom show suites will give you an idea of space planning. It’s a great first step for you to brainstorm your wish list. If you are interested in having us build a quote, the showroom is where we open a file to begin consulting on your wants and needs.
Bathroom Measurements & Take-offs
Once we have your wish-list down on paper, we visit your home to assess the room. Here we measure, take photos and get everything we need in order to begin our planning. Taking the time up front to assess properly enables us to produce a contract-ready quote for you that we can stand behind.
Space planning & Pricing
Space planning is our speciality. This is the next step we take in putting your quote together. Your cabinetry is drawn out to ensure proper scale and to meet your storage requirements. All products needed are assigned budgets and priced with their associated installation labour.
Once complete, we are ready to present your quote and an appointment is scheduled to review it at our showroom. This is an opportunity for customers to consider the products, layout, and options brought forward and to get a clear sense of the proposal. Any required modifications to layout and pricing are then made and if agreeable we proceed in moving forward together.
Colour Selections & Design
Next, the design and selections process begins. This is where our designers shine in helping you complete the room with the style you desire. Colour palettes are determined. Cabinetry and countertop styles and materials are chosen. Flooring and tiling picked, as well as a variety of other details to personalize and perfect your design just the way you want it.
When complete, the job is then ordered. On average, it takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks to receive and fabricate everything your job requires. We work this way in order to compress the time we spend in your home, making your renovation run smoothly, efficiently and stress-free.
The Bathroom Renovating Work Begins
Once the renovating begins, we take care in protecting your home, your floors and the air you breathe by using floor protection and dust reduction equipment. Customers often complement how well our team works together and the pride we take in a job well done.
As the new bathroom comes together, our customer’s vision comes into focus with a beautiful new bath emerging to stand the test of time and be enjoyed for many years.
Bathroom Renovation Questions
How much does a bathroom renovation cost in Edmonton?
Smaller three-piece bathrooms using bonafide trades and mid-grade materials for longevity will start in $18,000 – $20,000+ range, and go up from there. Factors determining cost include job scope, materials specified and trade qualifications. Larger more complex bathroom renovations with luxury features will reflect higher budgets. Features affecting cost could include: adding heated floors and electrical, upgrading to premium countertops and glass, speciality faucets and lighting, and adding additional storage.
How long does it take to renovate a bathroom?
Average sized bathrooms should take about a week to 10 days. Larger bathrooms and/or rooms with additional and custom features can take a little longer. Additional features that add time to install might include: customer shower doors versus stock, heated floors, adding a window or skylight, changing the layout or expanding the size of the bathroom.
Do you renovate other areas?

Will contractors allow you to install your own product?
Some contractors allow customers to supply their own products others do not. Independent provides a great warranty based on the products we supply and install. This ensures that the customer is protected and that they have an expert to help them choose better options than if they were on
Are bathroom renovation quotes free?
Better bathroom renovation companies often charge to quote, others do not. We charge to quote, but refund these fees if the job proceeds. Charging to quote allows a contractor some time to properly assess and ensure any extras at the end of a job are minimized. Oftentimes when a contractor quotes for free, they provide vague estimates allowing them an opportunity to charge more at job completion which is not the best practice.
