Bathrooms can take on many shapes, sizes and functions. Below are 4 examples of different bathroom renovations we recently completed. Budgets are useful in approaching a contractor as they help guide the conversation in terms of the types of solutions that are brought forward. In some cases, bringing a budget forward will help you determine whether a renovation wish list is achievable or needs to be modified, delayed or staged.
Whether we are asked to quote on a partial bathroom renovation, a complete remodel or a project in stages, we are happy to review your options. Each bathroom is unique.
The following pricing examples are not a guarantee of cost. Each project requires a site assessment and product confirmations to determine pricing.
Case Study 1: Hoolyrood – Partial Bathroom Renovation (Tub Area 1960’s Bungalow) $8083
(Range $8000 – $18,000+)
In this project we removed an old bathtub and replaced it with a new pro-grade acrylic deep soaker tub. The materials we chose were budget conscience but still quality for longevity. The project included removal and disposal of old materials and installation of new including the tub, solid bodied plumbing valve, showerhead, diverter spout and cultured marble walls with shelving for storage.
Case Study 2: Old Glenora – Partial Bathroom Renovation (Shower Replacement) $11,250
(Range $9,000 – $25,000+)
In this project we removed an existing shower and replaced it with a new slightly larger shower using midgrade materials. This project included removal and disposal of old materials and installation of new including pro-grade acrylic shower base, solid bodied plumbing valve, quality shower head, engineered non-porous stone walls and shelving, and a sliding glass shower door.
Case Study 3: Old Glenora – 5×8 Bathroom Complete – $22,500
(Range $18,000 – 28,000+)
This project was a complete bathroom renovation in a 1980’s 2 story home. This was the main bathroom on the second floor. Everything in the room was replaced including cabinetry, flooring and the tub area. Some additional features were added to make the room more usable.
Case Study 4: Sherwood Park – 4 piece Remodel – $53,000
(Range $32,000 – $80,000+)
In this bathroom the customer had in place a large jacuzzi tub which was never used and a small shower that was used daily. We reconfigured the room to include a larger shower and smaller free-standing tub. A variety of storage options were added including new cabinetry. This projected was turn key where we removed all and installed all to a finished room including: cabinetry, countertops, fixtures flooring, lighting and paint.
